One and a half billion HUF worth donations from the Food Bank

The Hungarian Food Bank Association distributed more than 5,000 tons of food donations worth 1.5 billion HUF in 2012, throught its 520 partners organizations. Thus, food packages were ditributed at nearly 900 settlements to 520,000 people in need.

During the last year debuted Express delivery project, 109 tons of food worth 74 million HUF was delivered from the stores of METRO Kereskedelmi Kft. by the partners organizations of the Hungarian Food Bank Association.

In 2013, Tesco stores will also join to the project – says the press release of the Food Bank.
