Markit: euro area economic growth has lost momentum
The final value of the composite purchasing manager index (PMI) of the IHS Markit Institute for Economics in London for July shows a decline in the pace of economic growth in the euro area.
The final July composite PMI, that has been published on Friday, was 54.3 point, lower than the 54.9 points of June. In July, the final value of the euro area service industry PMI declined to 54.2 from the 55.2 points of June. (MTI)
