Markit: the pace of economic growth is slowing in the euro zone
Despite the reduction of economic growth in September, the euro zone reached its best quarter of the last four years – the provisional September figures of the Purchasing Manager Index (PMI) of the Markit Economics Research Institute revealed.
According to the report published on Wednesday, the composite manufacturing and service sector BMI decreased to its two-month low, to 53.9 points in September. Analysts expected 54.1 points after the 54.3 points of August. (MTI)
