Whitening economy, due to the online cash registers

175 billion HUF more turnover was admitted from sectors, that were previously infected with VAT frauds, compared to a year ago – the compilation of the Magyar Nemzet states.

According to the Ministry of the National Economy, this is largely due to the introduction of the online cash registers. So far the tax authority has examined cash registers in 14 thousand cases, and fines were imposed only in 677 cases. On the basis of the datas of the online cash registers, new controls can be expected at those businesses, where the datas are significantly differ from the expected values.
