The new 1,000 HUF bank note comes from March
The National Bank of Hungary started the renewal of the forint banknotes in 2014. Within the framework of the program, four of the six denominations have been renewed in recent years, and the old 20,000, 5,000 and 2,000 HUF banknotes have also been included. Now it’s time for the 1,000 HUF bank note.
The ambition of the National Bank of Hungary (MNB) is to renew the banknotes continues. This time, the 1,000 HUF paper money will be renewed.
The new 1,000 HUF banknotes will be available from 1 March.
It is important to know that one can pay with the old version of the banknotes until 31 October, 2018 – the Hungarian National Bank announced on Tuesday. (origo)
