U.S. retail sales grew less than expected in March
Analysts expected an average 0.6 percent increase in retail sales in March after a 0.8 percent increase in February.
In the United States, retail sales excluding car sales rose 1.1 percent in March, following a more modest 0.6 percent growth in February. Excluding car and fuel sales, retail sales rose 0.2 percent in March from February, when a 0.1 percent decline was recorded. (MTI)
