In March, annual inflation slowed to 6.6 percent in Romania
Annual inflation in Romania slowed to 6.6 percent in March from 7.2 percent in February, the National Statistical Institute (INS) announced on Thursday.
In March, the price of services was on average 10.2 percent higher than a year earlier, food went up by 2.81 percent, and non-food products by 8.06 percent. Postal services rose in price the most, by 26.94 percent, the price of detergents increased by an average of 24.36 percent, and that of medicines by 23.7 percent.
