Annual inflation in the Czech Republic dropped to 15 percent in March from 16.7 percent in February, the Czech Statistical Office announced on Thursday in Prague. Inflation in the Czech Republic was last at this level in April last year.
The general deceleration of price increases has been going on for the second month, and it is expected to continue – declared Pavla Sedivá, director of the statistical office, at a press conference.
In March, the price of fuel fell the most (by 19 percent), and the increase in the price of natural gas decreased from 74.3 percent in February to 60 percent.
