Crisis taxes will end in 2012
The crisis taxes will end after 2012 but the government plans to negotiate a new system with the affected sectors which would generate about half of the revenue from the current crisis taxes for the budget, the prime minister's spokesman told MTI in November after the publication of a supplement to the 2011 budget which included HUF 85.5 billion revenue from crisis taxes in both 2013 and in 2014.
