According to a recent survey conducted jointly by OnePoll and Banfield Pet Hospital (also part of Mars), half of the executives surveyed said they plan to allow pets in the office, and 59% say they want more flexibility provides employees who want to work from home with their pet. The survey also revealed that 71% of Gen Z respondents and 48% of millennials have asked or plan to ask their employer to create pet-friendly offices.
Mars, owner of popular dog food brands such as Pedigree and Cesar, has been at the forefront of introducing dog-friendly offices for more than a decade. Since the pandemic, the number of adopted dogs has increased continuously, so the company is now widely sharing its positive experiences of introducing pet-friendly offices, not only for the sake of the dogs, but also for the well-being of the employees and the benefits for the organizations.
