Last year’s Hungarian tourists record has been broken already in September in Croatia
In the first week of September, the 2016 record has been broken. In less than eight months more Hungarian tourists visited Croatia and spent more guest nights than all year round last year – the Head of the Croatian Tourist Board’s Budapest Representation told MTI.
Recalling last year’s data, Marin Skenderovic said: In 2016, around 513,000 Hungarian tourists spent nearly 2,753 million guest nights in the Adriatic State. Based on the eVisitor system, which provides up-to-date tourist information in Croatia, on 4 September, both numbers exceeded the data of last year’s aggregates. (MTI)
