Contactless ordering service launched at Chicago Midway Airport
If you’re traveling to Chicago and get hungry, you’re luck. The Chicago Department of Aviation along with Midway Partnership have launched, GoEatMDW, a mobile food ordering service at the Chicago Midway International Airport that doesn’t require a mobile app. The joint venture is comprised of Vantage Airport Group, SSP America, and the Hudson Group, according to a press release.
Travelers can access the website through their smartphone camera by scanning QR codes displayed throughout the airport or by visiting GoEatMDW.com to browse menus. Customers can call the participating food vendors in the airport to order and pick up their meal or have it delivered anywhere in the airport.
Once an order is placed, guests receive update alerts on their mobile device, letting them know when their meal is ready or on its way. The platform accepts multiple forms of payment, including credit/debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
