You can already experience the unique taste of Fresh Corner hot dogs at home
In the framework of a special party, the sausages of the country’s most popular hot dog were presented in the MOL Campus, which until now could only be bought at MOL wells, but now they are also available in Lidl stores. The star guest of the event was Ági Dobó, VIP winner of Konyhafőnök, who is a lover of Hungarian and Mexican cuisine, so he prepared two recipes for the guests inspired by PICK X Fresh Corner hot-dog sausages.
For three years now, customers have been able to meet Fresh Corners with fresh and crispy muffins and hot dogs made with PICK’s quality sausage. Thanks to the fact that MOL realized that more and more people want quality food even when they are on the road. The hot dog is a great choice for this, and it has a decades-long tradition not only in Hungary, but in the entire region. It was the first American fast food dish that was available in our country, and long before the appearance of the hamburger, you could already have hot dogs in Budapest and Lake Balaton.
Along these lines, MOL and PICK created a real favorite when they introduced the hot dog with 94% meat content and sausage smoked over beech wood. Last year, more than ten million of these hot dogs were bought in Hungary alone, and another 14 million in neighboring countries. If these more than 24 million sausages were strung together, the “sausage chain” would reach from Szeged all the way to Greenland.
The good news is that from now on anyone can take the Fresh Corner taste experience home and feel free to experiment with their own hot dog versions at home, as these sausages can be bought in Lidl in addition to Fresh Corner, in separate packaging, in all three popular flavors (classic , cheese and Hungarian).
