Eight countries have introduced ban on imports of Hungarian poultry yet
Because of the bird flu virus, Taiwan also restricts the entry of the Hungarian poultry and poultry products into the country, so until now eight non-EU countries have introduced ban on the imports of Hungarian poultry – the National Food Chain Safety Office (NÉBIH) wrote on its website.
The Far East country bans the imports of live poultry, poultry meat and meat products from the total territory of Hungary.
Earlier the Republic of South Africa, Israel, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Canada and Serbia has announced to introduce restrictions on poultry from Hungary, Hong Kong and Canada introduced ban for the poultry products of Békés county only. (MTI)
