Váci Street slipped back in the rankings
According to a recent analysis; New York's Fifth Avenue remained the most expensive shopping mall in the world. Váci Street of Budapest slipped back four places in the rankings.
New York's Fifth Avenue remained the world's most expensive shopping street, where retailers pay 8 percent less than in 2008. The annual rental fee is 13 027 euros per square meter. Fifth Avenue is the number-one for eight years now. Second place went to Causeway Bay in Hong Kong followed by the Champs-Elysees in Paris. Váci Street, with its 1200 euros per square meter charges is the 34th among the 274 tested places. This is a decline compared to last year's 30th place, but Váci street still in front of the most popular shopping streets of Poland and Slovakia – reports Origo.
