Beer consumption declines for the fourth year in Germany
In Germany, a continous decline occurred on the beer market that is lasting for four years now.
According to the datas of the German statistical office; in 2010, 98.3 million hectoliters of beer was produced in the EU's biggest member state, which is 1.7 percent less than in 2009. The exports increased, however, domestic consumption, declined by 2.9 percent to 83.4 million hectoliters in the country of 82 million inhabitants – reports Magyar Nemzet Online, after MTI.
