The Auchan Magyarország Kft. installed defibrillators to all of its domestic Auchan stores. The 10 million HUF worth investment is not profit-oriented investment – the chain installed the life-saving devices for preventative aims.

The National Ambulance Service’s staff is more likely to be able to save patients with heart failures, who were given professional first aid, before the ambulance arrive. The defibrillators significantly increases the chances of successful resuscitation. The purchased equipments are also suitable for children.
