You can now pay utility bills with qvik
From now on, electronic utility bills can also be paid with qvik payment on the Díjnet online interface. The domestically developed, instant transfer-based payment solution allows consumers to pay their bills with a few clicks, without providing bank card details.
On the Díjnet interface, after selecting the bills, users can start the payment by selecting the qvik – free transfer option, which they approve in their own mobile banking application. The transaction is then completed in seconds, without hidden costs or additional fees.
“The goal of qvik is to make everyday payment situations – including settling utility bills – as simple and secure as possible. The service, which has also been launched in Díjnet, is another important milestone in our goal to make instant, digital payments natural for as many users as possible”
– said István Katona, CEO of Innopay Zrt.
The qvik payment solution, developed by Innopay Zrt. and created in collaboration with the Hungarian National Bank and GIRO, was available at more than 31,000 acceptance points in the fall of 2025. The popularity of one of the safest – entirely domestically developed – digital payment solutions is constantly growing. The average qvik payment is HUF 22,844, which is more than double the value of bank card transactions. According to experts’ estimates, by 2026, several million qvik payments are expected every quarter.
