Sprite gets a refresh with new branding and Lemon Lime & Cucumber launch
Coca-Cola European Partners (CCEP) will refresh its Sprite brand by introducing a new flavour and new designs for the entire Sprite range, as well as launching a £3.3 million marketing campaign to support the move.
The investment represents CCEP’s biggest investment in the Sprite brand in over five years, and a new Sprite Lemon Lime & Cucumber no sugar, zero-calorie variant will be introduced as part of the refresh.
Refreshed design features include a minimalist design scheme featuring lemons and limes, as well as the introduction of a dimpled 2-litre bottle.
Sprite Lemon Lime & Cucumber will be available in 330ml cans, as well as 500ml and 2-litre bottles from the end of February in UK retailers.
CCEP’s £3.3 million marketing campaign will include digital and print advertising, and will target millennial consumers.
