Meat black markets will be under control
The new land law can help in the restoration of the disturbed balance of animal husbandry and plant cultivation and in boosting up pig production – said Turi-Kovács Béla, Fidesz MP, Vice-Chairman of the Parliament’s Sustainable Development Committee at a professional conference in Budapest.
At the event, organized by the Livestock and Meat Marketing Board and Interprofessional Organization (VHT) the experts were seeking answers what the Hungarian pig sector can expect from 2013, when the new EU financial period begins. The news from Brussels are bad because it seems that the pig sector’s situation is not expected to be basically changed.
Tóth Attila, Head of Department at the Ministry of Rural Development (VM), told that wicked world will come to the participants of the black market, because with the unification of the records of the tax, subsidiary and the animal health system supervisory authorities the swindlers will be caught. Thus, the fair market players can expand their production.
