Only four weeks left to submit single applications
By May 14, 2025, farmers had submitted 82,432 applications, 80.6 percent of which, 66,467, were submitted with the help of the chamber’s rural economists. Applications can be submitted without penalty until June 10, 2025. The National Chamber of Agriculture asks producers not to leave the administration related to submitting applications to the last minute.
The single application submission period started on April 7. This year, a total of 49 support titles and measures can be used to apply for support and fulfill data provision obligations. Based on preliminary data, producers submitted 82,432 applications by May 14, 2025. 80.6 percent of all applications received, 66,467, were submitted by farmers with the help of village economists of the National Chamber of Agriculture (NAK). Last year, a total of 159,551 unified applications were submitted to the Hungarian State Treasury by the final deadline of June 10.
The Ministry of Agriculture will also waive the application of late penalties for applications this year, so applications can be submitted without penalties until June 10. Unified applications submitted after the deadline of June 10, 2025 will be rejected without any substantive examination.
The Common Agricultural Policy Strategic Plan and the relevant domestic regulations and calls for tenders have changed this year as well. The system of conditionality and production-linked subsidies and the Agro-ecological Programme (AÖP) have also been amended. The changes also affect the submission of single applications. It is important to note that in the case of the Agri-Environmental Management Programme (AKG) and Organic Farming (ÖKO) subsidies, farmers can submit payment applications during the period open for submitting single applications.
The NAK asks farmers not to leave the administration related to single applications to the last minute – whether they use the help of village economists or not. Chamber members who did not request the assistance of a village economist in previous years to submit their applications, but would like to do so this year, should contact the village economists closest to their place of residence by phone to arrange an appointment. Their contact details can be found on the NAK portal, in the village economist search engine.
