Already after the first half hour, Alibaba Chinese Internet retail portal’s turnover on Singles’ Day exceeded last year’s result on Wednesday – the international international news channel CGTN reports.

The trade campaign, with significant price cuts, began earlier than ever before on November 1 this year, with gross merchandise turnover reaching 372.3 billion yuan (56.3 billion USD) in the first ten hours of Wednesday- Alibaba announced. (MTI)
