A reduction in the Slovak food retailing
The situation is getting worse at the Slovak retail. Food sales has also reduced – Világgazdaság Online writes after Új Szó.
Due to the stagnating wages and due to danger of unemployment consumers are spending less and less in the stores. Improvement cannot be expected in the next period either.
The revenues of retail – with small and large fluctuations – have been decreasing since 2009, a new momentum that even the population started to save, because consumers have spent 2 percent less in this year so far, compared to a year ago.
