Grape harvest begins this week with early varieties
Because of the heat, grape harvesting starts early in August, but middle-breed varieties are harvested three weeks earlier than usual – Mészáros József informed MTI on Monday.
The wine cellar of the Pécsely Basin said that due to climate change, vine growing is increasingly shifting towards the Nordic countries, but still good quality and delicious fruit is grown in Hungary due to the country’s favorable location and facilities. (MTI)
