The Hungarian government focuses on the mangalica and the Hungarian great white
The presentation that aims to develop the pig industry will be submitted to the government on Wednesday. In the presentation, the Ministry of Rural Development Strategy proposes to launch the assessment of foreign markets and to start domestic research programs as well – said V. Németh Zsolt, Secretary of State for Rural Development on Wednesday in Keszthely.
V. Németh Zsolt, spoke about that the ministry will assess the available or soon available funds in the EU tendering systems as well as the foreign market opportunities in the scope of the pork industry strategy, but a nutrition research program would also be launched that would focus primarily on the Hungarian varieties such as on mangalica or on the phylum breeding of the Hungarian great white.
