Mangalica Festival in Debrecen
The mangalica festival has begun for the ninth time on the main square of Debrecen, the Kossuth square in front of the Reformed Great Church.
Tóth Péter, president of the National Association of Mangalica Producers (MOE), told MTI that their association’s finances are stable and last year established its international division as well. The latter means that farmers in the Carpathian Basin, but also Japanese, American, Canadian, Swedish and Portuguese breeders have also joined the association. (MTI)
