Soaring retail growth in Malta
A quick estimate by Eurostat pointed out that in April 2010 the volume of retail turnover decreased by 1.6 percent in the EU-27 and by 1.5 percent in the eurozone, compared to April 2009. Growth was measured in only four countries, with Malta performing the best at plus 8.7 percent.
