Malay food culture expressed through digital rendering – Picture of the day
Malaysian illustrator Shin Oh embeds his childhood memories of visiting traditional Malaysian shops and food stalls into three-dimensional representations, encapsulating his fondness for them in highly detailed 3D renderings.
Although each space is imaginary, the artist tries to create scenes from everyday and easily understandable objects in such a way that they can be understood across cultures. Shin puts it this way: People can recognize stands from objects without understanding the labels. Food connects all people, transcends language barriers.
