Poppy festival will be held on Sunday in Gödöllő

The inevitable “ingredient” of the Christmas goodies will be the main character of the first poppy festival in Gödöllő, which will be held at the renewed town square on Sunday.

Not only tastings will be held but one can take part in the food and cake preparing competition – Péterfi Csaba communications director of the local government informed MTI.

Péterfi Csaba added that beside bejglis poppy-pie, poppy muffins, poppy-cakes will waiting the guests and out of competition one can taste the milk & honey-poppy donuts of Pécsi Ildikó Kossuth Prize actress, who is the honorary citizen of Gödöllő. (MTI)
