Make food, not war!
A restaurant as the ambassador for peace – this is what Conflict Kitchen in Pittsburgh is about. A few creative artists in the city decided to open a takeaway restaurant that only serves dishes from countries with which the US is in conflict. This summer an Iranian sandwich, the kubideh was on the menu: a dish made of grilled ground meat in freshly baked barbari bread with onion, mint, and basil. The food is wrapped in a paper covered with facts about Iran.
