Retail sales fell in May in the Czech Republic
Retail sales in the Czech Republic fell by 6.9 percent year-on-year in May, after a 6.9 percent increase in April, the Czech Statistical Office announced on Monday in Prague.

Czech retail trade returned the April growth in May
The decline in retail sales in May is higher than analysts had expected.
Except for pharmacies and drugstores, turnover in all types of stores was lower than a year ago. In a monthly comparison, the decrease in traffic in May amounted to 2.3 percent. (Kokes János, MTI)
