Tourism increased in May
In May, the number of guest nights spent by foreign guests grew by 6.9, while the number of guest nights of domestic guests grew by 4.5 percent, compared to the previous year. The total of 2.42 million guest nights was 5.8 percent higher than last May – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Tuesday.
In the first five months of the year, the number of guest traffic of commercial accommodations increased by 10.1 percent, compared to the same period of last year. Foreigners spent 11.9 more, and domestic guests spent 8.2 percent more guest nights than in January-May last year. (MTI)
