According to the common indicator of Világgazdaság and Ecostat – called the speed-up guide (GYIA) – after the decline of April, the economy increased by 0.33 percent in May.

It is difficult to interpret it as a trend because the positive and the negative range is continuously changing from month to month. However, it is clear that the fall of the economy has been stopped. In an annual comparison there is still a huge decline in the GDP based statistics of Economy Research Institute (GKI). The fall in external demand has been shown to stop, but the internal market is clearly goes downward. Analysts expect a turnaround for the second half of the year, but there is an emergency scenario that one can expect for long stagnation – reports Világgazdaság Online.
