The National Ice Damage Mitigation System operates from 1 May
The National Ice Damage Mitigation System is operated from 1 May. The National Ice Damage Mitigation System does not imply any additional obligations for farmers, as it is funded by an agricultural fund based on farmers’ contributions – the Director General of the National Chamber of Agriculture (NAK) told M1 news channel on Tuesday.
Darabos Tamás added that the silver iodide used is natural, can be found in nature, they use a small amount and has no known side effects.
It is anticipated that there will be less ice damage payments due to the National Ice Damage Mitigation System – he said. (MTI)
