On May 17th, all roads lead to the breweries!
On the weekend of Saturday, May 17th, Hungarian small breweries will open to the public as part of a nationwide program, which will also welcome visitors with beer presentations, cultural programs and beer history quizzes.

Nearly 500 group visits to breweries took place during the Open Brewery Day events
This year, the Open Brewery Day offers programs from early afternoon until late evening. The participating small breweries will offer the opportunity to tour the brewery, taste and buy beer.
In Fertőhomok, at the Szentkői Craft Beer brewery, guests can choose from the culinary wonders of the area before and after the brewery presentation, and from 6 p.m. the Yahamo Brass Band will play its instruments.
In Győrújbarát, the Vaskakas Brewery will be preparing eight types of draft beer, beer spirits and street food dishes. Brewery tours will be held in several shifts, during which the latest items will be tasted from the tank.
At Lake Balaton, the Hedon brewery has joined the program. For the first time, participants will be able to taste the brewery’s non-alcoholic beer, and the Bivaly Bistro food truck will be waiting for all guests with dishes created just for this day!
Cecei Sörüzem is preparing several tours for those who want to visit one of the largest and most modern small-scale breweries in Hungary. After the tours, they will welcome visitors with an entertaining quiz and, of course, great beers.
The Pécs Brewery’s patina brewhouse will also be open for tours – tours are held in both Hungarian and English – while pizzas will be freshly baked in the inner courtyard of the brewery and live music will entertain guests.
