Modern eating habits – modern store types
Olive oil retail sales continued to grow in the December 2010-May 2011 period: Nielsen registered a 5-percent growth in value and an 11-percent increase in volume. The annual market was in the value of HUF 2.5 billion. Retail channels with a floor space larger than 400m² realised 87 percent of volume sales. Private label products’ share climbed from 40 to 42 percent. 48 percent of total sales were realised in Budapest and Pest County.
