European apple stocks are almost 7 percent higher than a year before
Thanks to the favorable harvest, there are almost 7 percent more apples in European reservoirs than a year ago, according to a news release published on Thursday by the FruitVeB Hungarian Interprofessional Organization.

European apple stocks are higher than last year
The quantity of apples stored is 4.92 million tons, while that of pears is just over 656 thousand tons, which is 27 percent less than in the previous year. The decline was mainly due to a decline in Italian yields, they wrote on their website, citing data from the World Apple and Pear Association (WAPA). (MTI)
