White Lily in Hungary
The White Lily restaurant hygiene program has arrived in Hungary. The program intended to improve the hygiene of restaurants was launched by experts of Johnson Diversey and a district council in the city of Istanbul. Restaurants rated as excellent receive a White Lily. In Turkey, this symbol has become a guarantee of a high standard of hygiene. The program was launched in Poland in 2007, with Hungary following in 2008 and the Czech Republic in 2009. 110 restaurants are to be audited in Budapest between June and September. Audits are performed on a voluntary basis. Restaurants which comply with 80 per cent of the checklist are entitled to use the White Lily certificate and logo. Information about the criteria to be met is available at the www.feherliliom.hu web site.
