At the Soy Roadshow in Hédervár Minister of Agriculture István Nagy emphasised: there is room and demand for the expansion of domestic soybean production.

In Hungary, interest in soybean cultivation is on the rise

The Ministry of Agriculture supports producers and their professional organisations with domestic and EU funds, and they pay special attention to knowledge transfer. This year soybeans were grown on 87,000 hectares, which is 22% more than the 5-year average.
