There will not be aflatoxin poisoned milk in Hungary
The aflatoxin-contamination is a manageable problem – the Director of the National Food Chain Security Agency (Nébih) told at the 17th the National Agricultural Forum in Bonyhád.
Previously Bognár Lajos, Deputy Minister of State of the Ministry of Rural Development (VM), responsible for food chain surveillance and agri-management said that in Hungary 4.0-4.5 million liters of milk is produced daily, and from this quantity a total about 2 million liters had to be destroyed in January and in February, because of aflatoxin contamination.
