Roughly 60 million liters of alcohol sold every year in Hungary

Approximately 58-60 million liters of alcohol is being sold in Hungary a year. Although this number may seem to be high, sales have been decreasing now for years, roughly by 1.8 percent. While premium and commercial brands are still going strong, the sales of medium-category drinks are rapidly decreasing. One of the most popular drinks is whisky, but wine and beers are going strong, too.
