About 30 percent less strawberries will be produced this year in Hungary
In Hungary this year, about 30 percent less strawberries will be produced due to frost damage – the National Chamber of Agriculture (NAK) told MTI on Friday.
According to the NAK, the main Hungarian production area of strawberries is in Bács-Kiskun and Pest counties. About half of native strawberries grow here in the two counties on about 200 to 200 hectares. (MTI)
