Hungary is last in employment rate
Hungary stood in the last place in the first half of the year in the European Union with the employment rate of the 15-64 year-olds. The employment rate of 55.3 percent is 9 percentage points below the average of the 27 member countries – reports the Central Statistical Office.
Male employment was 9.9, women employment was 7.8 percentage points lower in Hungary, than the EU average. Hungary’s unemployment rate in the second quarter was 11.2 percent above the EU average of 9.6 percent – reports piacesprofit.hu.
