A huge part of Hungary’s EU funds are due to the common agricultural policy
More than 36 percent of the European Union’s funds coming to Hungary by 2020 are due to the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) of the European Union, Feldman Zsolt, Deputy Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture (FM) said at the National Sustainable Development Council’s (NFFT) meeting in Budapest.
The Deputy Minister of State underlined that the ministry considers the common agricultural policy is favorable for agricultural production and for the food industry.
He added that the agricultural policy pursued by the European Union (EU) can be considered one of the most environmentally conscious and sustainable policy on world level, as it has a significant impact against rural poverty and also supports sustainable and affordable food production. (MTI)
