According to the information, the economic umbrella institution of the Turkic States Organization, the Association of Turkic Chambers of Commerce and Industry (TCCI), welcomed the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry as a full member at its general meeting held in Budapest on Thursday.
MKIK contributes to the economic development programs, infrastructure and trade projects taking place within the framework of TCCI with independent voting rights, strategic cooperation and active, expert participation – the statement said.
Elek Nagy, President of MKIK, emphasized in the statement that cooperation with Turkic states does not mean a formal relationship. The countries are connected by common heritage and common ambitions.
The Hungarian chamber strives to build mutual and active business relations with Turkic states. The cooperation has a significant development potential and, last but not least, represents a huge market. To facilitate this, the Hungarian Chamber places special emphasis on promoting the digital economy, knowledge-based decision-making and the continuous development of Hungarian businesses
– added the MKIK president.
Full membership can open up new opportunities for the export of Hungarian products and services in Turkic-speaking countries, especially in sectors such as the health industry, the food industry, water management, transport or business services, in the spirit of the common intellectual and cultural heritage – informed the MKIK.
