Hungary insists on maintaining EU agricultural subsidies
Hungary insists that the level of EU agricultural subsidies should not be reduced and is against the solution that some Member States will counterbalance this by raising their own state subsidies – said Fazekas Sándor Minister of Agriculture to M1 news channel.
The minister does not count on the expansion of the agricultural support framework due to the Brexit, but stressed that Hungary is willing to raise its payments by up to 20 percent, in order not to cut down on the support framework due to the exit of Great Britain. (MTI)
