Hungary remains GM food free
For Hungary it remains an important objective to preserve the country free from genetically modified organisms (GMO) – said Ángyán József, State Secretary of the Ministry of Rural Development, responsible for parliamentary affairs at an international meeting in Budapest on Friday.
The State Secretary said that the Hungarian agriculture can only be successful, if it produces valuable, residue-free, healthy and safe natural foods and can preserve the cleanliness of soils and the drinking water, the wildlife, the landscape, including the health of the people, their communities and cultures – reports MTI.
