Hungary will be the host of next year’s World Tourism Day
Budapest will host the World Tourism Day in 2018, on the basis of the UN World Tourism Organization’s (UNWTO), Ujhelyi István Socialist MEP informed, who attended the organization’ meeting in China.
He attended the World Summit Chengdu, China as the Vice-President of the EP’s Transport and Tourism Committee.
According to the report, more than a thousand diplomats, ministers and nearly five thousand tourism experts from over 150 countries attended the event.
This year’s World Tourism Day will be held in Qatar, next year in Hungary and in India in 2019. (MTI)
