Hungary's largest solar panel on the top of a Tesco store
Tesco is committed to environmental protection, energy saving so the company installed Hungary's largest solar panel to its Dunakeszi-Fót store.
The solar panels are operating since May and generate electricity, reducing the power consumption of the store from the public network. The 422kWp solar panels have a total area of 2500 square meters producing 400 MWh (megawatt hours) energy annually, which corresponds to the annual electricity consumption of about 200 families.
