Hungary is interested in a simpler and more prosperous EU common agricultural policy (CAP) in the post-2020 period – Fazekas Sándor, Minister of Agriculture told in Brussels on Monday.

Fazekas Sándor said that it is favorable for Hungary that the majority of the Member States agree that a strong common agricultural policy with a sufficient financial background is needed which makes it simpler for farmers to have easier access to EU funds while ensuring that food production in the European Union and the EU can supply export markets with adequate quantities of quality food.
